Well, here it is August.  My oldest daughter (Sandy) is preparing for her 1st year of culinary school and my youngest daughter (Rachael) is getting ready for her 2nd year of high school.  As the year drudges on I can't wait till October and the return of TRF.  It seems like forever between Scarby and TRF.  I know there are other faires in between but with trying to get into a house and buying a new vehicle it is just not possible to get to any of them.  My family and I sure miss all of our faire friends and look forward to the day when we gather once again on that plain just outside Magnolia for fun and frivolity.

About the house; we got it.  We are going to be putting up the deposit money this coming week and hopefully moving in the 3rd week of August.  Once settled we will be throwing a HUGE party for all our friends.  More information wil be forthcoming.

Well, I will sign off now.  Just wanted to send out a not e to our friends and "fairemily" saying that we love you all and miss you very much.

Well, here it is Tuesday and I am longing for that long ago time of this past weekend and the wonderful time had at Scarborough Faire.  My daughter, her boyfriend and I traveled north this past weekend to experience this Faire that we had heard so much about and it was indeed all it was said to be.  A much more intimate faire than TRF but truly enchanting. 

A big thank you to Link and Tab for their hospitality.  It is always a pleasureable, fun-filled time to be with them.  It was wonderful to spend time with our friends Shadow and Bug and their new baby Crimson.  It was also great to finally meet Grim and Chandra and, as always, it was wonderful to see the ever charming Willow.

For those of you who know Sandy's boyfriend, ask him how a sunburn through chainmaille feels. lol. 

A great time was had and we are looking forward to Pirate weekend in May when we can spend time with more of our friends.

Well, here we are.  Holidays out of the way, summer rapidly approaching and a young man's fancy turns to faire.  The family and I are waiting anxiously for the arrival of Scarby so that we can once again revel with those we love.  We miss everyone so much.  The Admiral, Capn Rivkah, Capn TMI and Calypso, Holly and Raider, Lord Vandor and the lady Amalphia, Capn Link and Tab, Greywolf, Ember and all the others (too many to list here.)  We are all hoping that you all are planning to be at Scarby so that we can once again enjoy each others company.  Time ticks away quickly and as the flowers begin to bloom so does our anticipation as faire approaches.

Hope this finds all of you well and looking forward, as we are, to the opening weekend of Scarborough.  We wish that we could be with all of you who are going to Four Winds but mundania and finances won't allow it.  Please lift a toast to those of us who will be absent and good luck Admiral in your quest for the Golden Arrow! Hope you all have a great time and we will see you at Scarborough Faire in April.
